Posted: Thursday 26th June 2008

The Pearpoint brand from Radiodetection is pleased to announce the launch of its new mobile service vans. The mobile service has been in operation for nine years and due to its success, this is the third series of vans on the road. They are equipped with all the latest technology to provide Pearpoint customers with a comprehensive on site maintenance, repair and calibration service.

Sales Director, Doug Kemp of MW Specialist Vehicles delivered the new vans to Nigel Young, Pearpoint’s Service Manager and his team last week. These new vans further reinforce Pearpoint’s commitment to customer service and the scale of investment is testament to the strength of the brand.

The Mobile Service team includes Nigel Swainbank and Neil Taylor who operate the Southern and Northern vans, respectively. Between them they have over 37 years of experience working for Pearpoint. The mobile workshops enable both Nigel and Neil to repair the majority of the Pearpoint inspection product range and provide a maintenance service. Each van is equipped with test equipment and a stock of spare parts. Due to the portability, the best and fastest service is provided ensuring less downtime for the customer as the service is brought to them.

Robert White, UK Sales Manager for Radiodetection Pearpoint says “The new improved mobile service team led by Nigel Young offers a fast turnaround at the customer’s own site. The new mobile workshops offer state of the art facilities that are just a phone call away. Using Pearpoint’s own service means that the customer is assured its inspection equipment is maintained in first class condition. We naturally only use genuine factory parts and an expertise that is second to none. I feel sure the new service vans demonstrate Pearpoint’s continuing commitment to our customers and offers the best possible after sales support throughout the UK”.
