In conjunction with the launch of its new VortX range of cast iron floor drainage products, leading iron technology solutions provider, Saint-Gobain PAM UK, has announced the arrival of the VortX brochure, which features the full range designed for the commercial and construction market.

Described by the company as being the next generation of drainage solutions, VortX floor drain are now available and will be supplemented by a new range of roof drainage products in the new year. Designed in accordance with BS EN1253:2004, the range comprises more than 60 components that can all be installed in different combinations to create complete floor drainage solutions.

The VortX brochure lists all products in the range by category and these include gratings and rodding eyes in nickel bronze and stainless steel, cast iron floor and shower gullies, raising pieces, adaptors, inserts and accessories. Each product is fully illustrated with all specification and dimensional data included. Also featured is useful design consideration and installation information supported by a series of diagrams, as well as details on quality assurance and materials used in manufacture.

Mike Rawlings of Saint-Gobain PAM UK said: “As a leading manufacturer of building drainage products, we wanted to be able to offer our customers a more complete drainage package that would complement and enhance our existing cast iron drainage pipe systems such as Ensign and Timesaver. The new brochures gives customers all the information they need - in a simple easy to use format – because we believe selecting floor drainage products needn’t be complicated.

“Not only can VortX be used with existing cast iron systems, but also with those involving alternative pipe materials. A further key benefit for contractors and installers is they can purchase these products together with cast iron pipe systems as a package from the same merchant distributor.”
