New International Sales Manager takes on Uponor's product range

Alistair Carson has been appointed international sales manager at Uponor Infrastructure UK.

Alistair joined Uponor as Scottish regional sales manager in 1999, and has been heading up sales and marketing for Uponor Radius in Northern Ireland for the past three years. Now he takes on the role of international sales manager for Uponor Infrastructure, on the retirement of Dave Hewson.

Alistair now leads a team that includes Helen Xu in China, Tim Perkins in Dubai and Dave Truman in the UK.

Alistair will be concentrating on growing Uponor’s international division in gas, water and telecommunications, and commented:

“Uponor has some exciting international projects happening at the moment, and I’m looking forward to further developing these.”

Married with three children aged 16, 10 and 4, and living just outside Glasgow, Alistair plays golf when he gets the opportunity and also enjoys running.
