Euroby add their all new I-SAF to their SAF range

Posted: Tuesday 7th October 2014

Intelligent SAF packaged biological treatment system.

Traditional Submerged Aerated Filter (SAF) systems have a proven track record in the Water Industry for providing high quality biologically treated effluent.

However, they are prone to being power hungry, and with this in mind, Euroby, in partnership with Setfords Consultants, are pleased to announce their new intelligent SAF unit, I-SAF.

Designed for equivalent populations from 300 - 1000 and beyond, Euroby’s I-SAF incorporates energy saving devices that result in likely power savings of over 50%, providing a low payback on energy saved, but still maintaining the high levels of treatment produced by their traditional SAF systems.

Euroby`s new I-SAF ticks all the boxes when it comes to low carbon / low energy systems.

The I-SAF is available as a complete treatment package for both rental and purchase; we can often retrofit our I-SAF technology to existing SAF plants.

I-SAF options

Gold - Dissolved oxygen control, variable speed blowers, PLC monitoring, timed air scour cycle

Silver- 4-20mA output from inlet flow recorder linked to PLC monitoring, variable speed blowers, timed air scour cycle

Bronze - Stepped increase and decrease from variable speed blowers based on historical flow data, PLC monitoring, timed air scour cycle.

Euroby’s traditional SAF and I-SAF range of biological packaged waste water treatment tanks are manufactured in grade 304 stainless steel to provide many years of efficient & low maintenance operation.

Euroby can now provide SAF and I-SAF systems with integrated Lamella plate Primary and Humus settling tanks - resulting in a highly compact & complete “plug and play” package.
