DURAPIPE UK OFFERS CHOICE WITH POLYPROYLENE

Posted: Tuesday 15th September 2009

Durapipe UK is expanding its highly successful Polypropylene pipework offering, due to the increasing needs of its customers for flexibility when it comes to industrial pipework solutions.

The pipework manufacturer is introducing a new Butt Welded product to its Durapipe Polypropylene range, which will enable it to increase the size ranges that it currently offers. The existing socket fusion jointed product is available up to 110mm, but the new butt welded product will be available up to 400mm, resulting in extensive benefits for contractors, specifiers and end-users in a variety of applications.

In addition to offering customers a wider choice of sizes, the new butt welded product enables long straight runs of pipe to be installed without the need for couplers, saving costs during the installation process.

Commenting on the range expansion, James Roper, Industrial Brand Manager at Durapipe UK, says, “It is always our aim at Durapipe UK to meet and exceed the needs of our customers and we are confident that we have done this with the Durapipe Polypropylene expansion. The new and improved pipework system offers flexibility whilst providing cost savings, on large bore applications”.

Durapipe Polypropylene is a lightweight pipework system which provides excellent chemical and abrasion resistance ensuring it can carry the most hazardous chemicals at elevated temperatures (100ºC). Its characteristics make it the ideal solution for pharmaceutical and chemical processing, as well as industrial waste treatment, effluents, acid and alkalis.
