Posted: Wednesday 24th October 2012

WSP has appointed Hamish Hall as Senior Technical Director to drive growth and develop broader skills in its water development business.

Hamish joins WSP from Royal Haskoning DHV’s water division and brings with him 20 years’ experience in coastal management, river engineering, waterside development, small harbours and climate change adaptation.

His experience of projects includes hydrological, hydraulic and economic modelling, as well as strategy development and business planning throughout the UK and abroad.

Ian Liddell, Head of Development said:

“WSP views the water sector as a key growth area and we are recruiting strategically to capitalise on this. Hamish brings a wealth of experience to help us to meet our growth targets, in particular by strengthening and diversifying our technical offering.

“His initial focus will be flooding and coastal work in the domestic market, particularly coastal modelling, as well as looking to the international market for emerging opportunities.”
