WRc launches Water Meter Training Course
Posted: Thursday 6th January 2011
In these times of widespread water metering, WRc are pleased to announce the launch of their water metering training course. This training course has been developed in collaboration with UK water utilities and will provide an introduction to those working with meters and metering data within the clean water side of the industry. The course will give an understanding of the measurement techniques and applications covering the principal types of meters used by the industry – their working principles, performance, benefits and experience in operation.
Anna Bujnowicz, Business Development Manager for the Water Supply area at WRc adds “By teaming up with water utility practitioners in the development of this training course, we can ensure that all clean water metering aspects, including the latest metering technologies, are covered to fully meet the needs of the potential audience.”
Courses can be held at WRc’s premises in Swindon, at client offices or any other location that suits. The course incorporates 4 modules:
- Module 1 General guidance;
- Module 2 Source and Strategic meters;
- Module 3 District Metering Area (DMA) and Network meters;
- Module 4 Revenue metering and per capital consumption (PCC) meters.
