Veolia Water Outsourcing, the business services arm of Veolia Water UK Plc, has been awarded a prestigious RoSPA Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety.
The award is non-competitive and based on the entrant’s individual occupational health and safety performance assessed against the judging criteria. Awards are made at Gold, Silver, Bronze and Merit level, progressing to higher awards for sustained achievement.
David Wright, Director and General Manager – England and Wales for Veolia Water Outsourcing, said: “We’re delighted to have won such a prestigious award. Entering the RoSPA Awards reinforces the message that good health and safety is good for business, and clearly demonstrates an organisation’s dedication to improving performance in the crucial area.”
The RoSPA Awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they help to ensure that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place.
Neeraj Shah added: Our objective is to achieve ‘zero harm’ and we are well on our way there. Employee support is crucial and the good work by all of my colleagues is helping us on our journey.”
