* 1,500 Engineers Seamlessly Connected to New ERP System * Secure and Reliable Mobile Connectivity with iPass

Severn Trent Water has signed a three year agreement with managed service provider Azzurri Communications for the provision, support and management of a mobility solution, utilising iPassConnect(tm) Mobility Manager from iPassŪ Inc. (NASDAQ: IPAS) for its 1,500 field-based engineers.

Severn Trent is in the process of deploying a new corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that will help to drive efficiency and improved productivity throughout the business. Providing mobile access to this system for its field-based engineers is therefore critical. The solution, built on Azzurri's 'Azzurri Roam' service, provides the flexibility for Severn Trent to tailor a mobile solution to their specific needs, ensuring user acceptance is high from the outset.

The 'Azzurri Roam' service uses the award-winning iPassConnect Mobility Manager software to provide Severn Trent's engineers with secure access to business-critical applications over iPass' network. iPassConnect provides a simple, consistent connection experience across the world's largest virtual network of 3G mobile broadband, over 140,000 Wi-Fi and Ethernet locations and dial-up covering over 165 countries.

Other mobile users at Severn Trent Water will also be given access to the service, which will provide business continuity benefits and more predictable costs for those who travel extensively.

Myron Hrycyk, Chief Information Officer for Severn Trent Water said: "Our key requirements were to ensure reliable 3G coverage across the large region we serve, to provide a consistent and intuitive experience for our users and to have the ability to monitor and manage connection performance. We chose Azzurri and iPass to help us do that because of their combined experience with other FTSE 100 companies and their record of delivering commercially viable, robust and user-friendly solutions."

Jason Standerwick, Sales and Marketing Director for Azzurri Communications said: "Our 'Azzurri Roam' managed service is seeing increased market traction with 25% of the FTSE 100 choosing it as their preferred mobility solution. We believe this is because it has two major benefits for our customers: access to detailed analysis through our portal which ensures effective cost control, and no need for any capital expenditure on equipment."

"Mobility is a strategically important part of Severn Trent's operations, and we are very pleased that Severn Trent Water has acknowledged iPass as a leader in the enterprise mobility services space by choosing iPass," said Azadar Shah, sales director UK & Ireland at iPass. "This project highlights the ongoing strength of our partnership with Azzurri Communications and our commitment to provide enterprise mobility services that deliver a simple and smart connection experience for the user while ensuring a secure and cost-effective solution for IT management."
