No-Dig Live heads north to check out Glasgow

Posted: Thursday 12th March 2020

The No-Dig Live Roadshow is soon to be hitting the road and heading northwards, ready to set up shop at the Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Spa & Golf Resort on Wednesday 29th April 2020. Formerly held in Dublin and Bristol in 2019, the show is on course to be the biggest roadshow Westrade has organised in Scotland and is officially supported by Scottish Water. Indeed, so popular has the roadshow proven that stands have already completely sold out.

The full event programme is in the final stages of preparation and is available to preview at www.nodiglive.co.uk. Westrade can already confirm however that the keynote speech will be delivered by Gordon Reid, General Manager for Net Zero Emissions, who will be talking about Scottish Water’s Carbon Neutral Challenge, innovative construction techniques and how the whole industry will need to get on board if the company is to become carbon neutral by 2035. Mark McEwen, General Manager for Customer, will also be featuring on the programme. Mark will be discussing how zero disruption to customers is a key part of Scottish Water’s customer and community strategy and how they are piloting community engagement in their project optioneering. Scottish Water is proud to have embarked on the most ambitious carbon targets of any UK utility to date and was therefore perfectly placed to become the headline supporter of this trailblazing event.

Westrade and UKSTT are particularly excited to announce that the Glasgow Roadshow will be the first in their portfolio of trenchless events to be supported online and via social media by the new No-Dig Live hub – www.nodiglive.co.uk. Subscribe now to be sure of receiving regular updates about the Glasgow event as well as all the latest trenchless chatter. Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE
