New premises for ITT Rental and Service Centre

Posted: Thursday 28th May 2009

In the UK and Ireland ITT Water & Wastewater provides rental, aftermarket services and monitoring and control as part of its total solutions portfolio and has now strengthened this offer with the opening of a new state-of-the-art rental and service centre.

The Warrington Flygt Rental and Service Centre at Hardwick Grange is conveniently close to the previous site, and around four times larger. This allows the centre to provide a quicker turnaround on repairs, enhanced storage space for a greater variety of products, and increased capability for new and existing customers.

With a larger, enhanced workshop, ITT engineers are now able to service a more diverse range of pumps. An overhead crane able to lift between two and five tonnes has been installed meaning that even larger pumps can be serviced or repaired with ease. A test facility has been included, suitable for testing up to 300kW, as well as a designated cleanwater pump repair area.

Steve Simmons, Warrington Rental Manager for ITT Water & Wastewater, commented: “This brand new facility allows us to increase the support we can offer to our customers’ businesses. With more workspace we can accommodate more repairs as well as stocking a greater range of product from ITT WWW’s portfolio, so combined with our 24 hour emergency callout and Service fixed price repairs, the centre provides the ultimate convenience for our customer base.”

Flygt Rental specialises in Flygt submersible pumps, mixers, aerators and accessories and has the largest UK fleet of ATEX certified pumps available to rent. The new centre is located at 28 Rufford Court, Hardwick Grange, Warrington and will continue to allow ITT Water & Wastewater to offer customers outstanding life-long performance, unrivalled expertise and added value through its products, people and services.
