NEWCENTRE OF EXCELLENCE REFLECTS CONFIDENCE OF POLYPIPE

The opening of a brand-new Centre of Excellence dedicated to plastic piping technology and related product areas has underlined the commitment Polypipe makes to its customers. Polypipe’s investment in the new Centre of Excellence reflects the company’s position as the UK’s largest and fastest growing manufacturers of plastic piping systems for the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.

Located at Polypipe’s Aylesford facility in Kent, the new Centre of Excellence represents a unique resource in today’s building products market. It combines purpose-built showroom areas with practical training facilities, live product demonstration zones and seminar facilities which cover all aspects of Polypipe’s diverse product portfolio. These range from plastic drainage and waste piping products for domestic applications through to underfloor heating, stormwater management systems and rainwater harvesting technology.

“Despite the current economic conditions we feel that it is vitally important that Polypipe is seen to support the industry it serves in this type of practical manner and the Centre is proof of our philosophy in action,” comments Paul Rice, Polypipe’s Group Business Development Director.

“The wealth of technical expertise and industry knowledge that we possess as a business has provided the foundations for the creation of the Centre. It is the result of the great emphasis we place on building long-term, partnership-based relationships with our customers and we hope that they will view the Centre as a unique and valuable resource which they can use and gain maximum benefit from.”

Polypipe’s activities in various sectors, such as residential, commercial and infrastructure, are featured in the Centre. “This reflects the tremendous strength of our product range and also the great confidence that this gives us in the strength of the wider offering we make to the market,” adds Paul Rice.
