Posted: Friday 28th April 2017

Specialist utilities and construction training provider Develop Training Limited (DTL) has launched a new training centre in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

The new centre will deliver training for individuals and teams working in a variety of organisations across the construction, utilities and energy sectors. Launched in association with Associated Pipeline Products (APP), a leading supplier of pipeline and construction products. DTL Northern Ireland will initially provide more than 35 enriched training courses to infrastructure companies, mains and gas asset owners and water network operators and contractors, facilities management, the NHS and the public sector, with the number of courses set to expand over the remainder of 2017.

Chris Wall, Sales and Marketing Director at DTL, said: "The launch of our new centre will enable us to deliver high quality training to a larger number of companies in Northern Ireland. It will reduce travel costs and time for our existing customers in Northern Ireland and we are very excited about this partnership with APP with whom we have enjoyed a successful relationship for several years."

DTL will be exhibiting at IGEM's Future of Gas in Northern Ireland conference in Belfast on April 6, and will shortly be announcing its inaugural Northern Ireland training course and launch event.

DTL can provide specialist training at any one of its bases nationwide, in addition to delivering on-site training solutions. The breadth of training covers electrical and mechanical, gas, energy, water, environmental (including legionella), health & safety and management development. DTL is listed on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, and all courses are fully accredited by the leading professional industry bodies, including IGEM, Gas Safe Register and IOSH.
