JP Pumps in move to optimise its Service and Repair facilities
In a move to optimise its nationwide service and repair facilities, JP Pumps, which is part of the Sweden-based Johnson Pump group owned by SPX, has announced that its service division and repair facilities will now be handled by SPX Process Equipment, which is headquartered in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. The transfer of the service department took place from the 31st March 2008.
The JP Pumps range includes a wide variety of centrifugal pumps encompassing DIN Standard end suction types, hygienic centrifugal, self-priming liquid ring-section and multistage pumps. JP Pumps also offers a wide range of positive displacement pumps, including internal gear, air operated diaphragm, and its latest range of rotary lobe pumps.
The Johnson Pump group is an international engineering group with a pump division employing over 500 people and has factories in Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, India and the U.S. The SPX plant at Brixworth, which manufactures Bran + Luebbe pumps, and has extensive manufacturing, engineering and maintenance facilities, lies at the centre of the Midlands motorway network. JP Pumps is continually expanding its after sales service and believes that the merging of these operations with those of SPX Bran & Luebbe will bring about an increased level of service to all JP Pumps customers.
