Interserve, the international construction and support services group, has been awarded account extensions worth over £1 million to deliver fire and water safety services to existing customers.

Yorkshire Water, which Interserve delivers regional fire services for - maintaining over 4,000 fire extinguishers and 700 alarm systems - has extended its account for two years.

Barchester Healthcare has also extended its water safety services contract delivered to some 340 care homes across the UK, for a further 12 months, and the Camping and Caravanning Club has awarded a two-year extension for water services at nearly 100 sites nationwide.

Andy Vernall, managing director of fire and water at Interserve, said:

"By developing strong customer relationships and delivering excellent services, our teams at Interserve have retained these key accounts. We are constantly looking to improve and give our customers good reasons to continue working with us. These extensions are testament to the hard work and quality services we deliver."
