Hydro Shapes Up its Wastewater Sales Team for Business Growth

Hydro International is expanding its UK Wastewater sales operations and realigning its sales team to key customer accounts in anticipation of a greater industry focus on optimising the through-life performance of wastewater assets.

Appointing Matt Baldry as Key Account Manager, Hydro has strengthened its UK sales team to build closer customer relationships both pre- and post-contract and to support customers in achieving lifetime best value for their wastewater plant and equipment.

Existing Regional Sales Managers will also take on Key Account Manager roles, reporting to Keith Hayward, National Sales and Marketing Manager.

“As the water industry begins to prepare for the next AMP investment cycle, we know that there will be a growing focus on operational efficiency. That starts right from the initial specification of capital equipment and lasts throughout its operating life,” said Keith.

“By concentrating on key customer accounts, the sales team can work in dedicated relationships closely aligned to customers’ equipment procurement programmes.

“The entire water industry is being challenged to improve communications and explore more creative ways of contracting across the supply chain. Our aim is to support business growth by providing our customers with account managers who can fully serve those requirements.”

With more than 20 years’ key account management experience, Matt Baldry joins Hydro from Flowcrete, where he was Specification Sales Manager. Previously, he worked as National Accounts Manager for Kawneer.
