A ‘Neat’ decision – Neat3D team joins with MWH bringing 3D visual and animation skills

Posted: Thursday 18th September 2008

MWH, one of the world's largest providers of water, environmental, infrastructure and energy services, has integrated Neat3D, producers of 3D visuals and animation services, into its UK operation.

The agreement sees Mark Wynne remain at the helm of the business he founded in 2004 as the head of a new MWH business unit, MWH Neat3D, which will be based at the company’s UK headquarters in Warrington.

The aim of the integration is to build on the recognised potential for combining visualisation with asset management and project management, along with engineering and construction activities.

Neat3D brings to MWH specialist skills in creating visualisation and 3D animation in support of building and construction projects, forensic investigation studies and advertising and marketing applications.

Their impressive portfolio includes St Pancras Station, with its work featuring on the BBC’s recent documentary ‘The £800 million Railway Station’, several Nuclear facilities, a number of Police Authorities across England and Wales, and a number of large building development projects around Europe, including the new Faro Airport in Portugal.

David Smith, MWH's Director of Business Strategy commented: "We are delighted to have Mark Wynne and his team join MWH. There are complementary skills between MWH and Neat3D which mean we will be able to offer an even better service to our local and global clients.”

Mark Wynne commented, “MWH has a fantastic global presence and we hope that our innovative and creative skills can help grow further business to the benefit of our clients. I think it is important in this present day to have a diverse capability and MWH clearly has expanded that now by bringing Neat3D onboard.”
