Saer pumps - offering improved hydraulic efficiency and energy savings
Based in Italy, Saer Elettropompe S.p.A. is a world leader in pump design and manufacture. One particular focus of its research and development department is improving the hydraulic efficiency of pumps while simultaneously reducing the energy required to maintain these higher levels.
Using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) software, Saers engineers are able to develop units offering the best hydraulic efficiency that can be translated into energy saving, especially when the pump is running continuously. Development continues through prototype machines that are fully tested in two laboratories, able to test over 4000m3/h at powers up to 500kW.
All manufacture is carried out in Italy, using only top-quality materials: cast iron EN-GJL-250, carbon steel G20Mn5, bronze marine G-CuSn10, stainless steel AISI 316 (1.4408), and various gradations of Duplex and Superduplex all materials with high strength and corrosion resistance.
The product range includes:
Standard pumps according to EN733 and higher specification pumps, available as close-coupled, with stub shaft or bareshaft. Materials include carbon steel, cast iron, bronze and stainless steel and powers range from 750W to 500kW.
Submersible pumps (from 4in. to 14in.) and motors (from 4in. to 12in.) up to 300kW in various materials.
Vertical and horizontal multistage pumps from 750W to 500kW.
Split casing pumps from 15 to 1500kW.
Domestic pumps and booster sets.
