FT Pipeline Systems Dartford Park Scheme

Posted: Tuesday 20th March 2007

Frazer and Tabberer’s pipeline division FT Pipeline Systems, completed delivery of materials into Dartford Park near Littlebrook Power Station for Thames Water.

The two smaller diameter pipe quantities (300mm and 450mm) were supplied direct from FT stocks whilst the 600mm was new rolled for the scheme. Additional to the straight pipes were a number of fittings including bends and spool pieces with NP16 flanges and gaskets.

FT Pipelines spent time assessing the material requirements with Alfred McAlpine and subcontractor McNicholas to establish the exact requirements. FT then brought the elements of the project together which involved nine supply companies from five countries, providing a single point of contact for the client.

FT included site visits for Canusa training and QA documentation to back up the material supply. The construction last year was completed ahead of schedule.
